MID Scholars Program
88% of students who graduated in 2022 are employed in interior design or an allied profession. The Hiller College of Architecture and Design (HCAD) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology houses a studio-centered interior design program. HCAD’s Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design is a four-year program fully accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Detroit industry partners work directly with interior design students, providing internships and post-graduation employment. Of course, another reason why NYSID is set apart from others is its location.

College of Architecture and Environmental Design - Cal Poly
Parsons’ BFA in interior design is a 120-credit hour, full-time, on-campus program. It's difficult to beat FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles if you want to pursue a degree in interior design. Located in the city of Los Angeles, FIDM Los Angeles is a private for-profit school with a small student population. Students with design, non-design, and architecture backgrounds may pursue an MS in interior architecture or sustainable design at Thomas Jefferson University. The school also offers two accelerated pathway programs into the MSIA program, the BArch/MSIA and the BSArchStudies/MSIA. In addition to completing an internship and presenting a final portfolio, you must fulfill your credit requirements by completing core and major courses.
A certificate offers in-depth study of a professional field through coursework that balances theory and practice, providing learners knowledge and expertise in less time than many traditional postgraduate degrees. A specialization is a short series of courses designed to help you quickly gain knowledge in a focused area of study and acquire in-demand skills sought by employers. Sullivan University, a private institution based in Louisville, Kentucky, features a Bachelor of Arts in interior design. Sullivan’s interior design program is CIDA-accredited and prepares students for interior design careers and for advanced study. FSU’s bachelor’s in interior architecture and design entails 77 semester credits in addition to the general education requirements. Along with a required internship, you also have plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Parsons graduates are highly sought-after and begin careers in interior design or pursue further studies. Interior design students frequently seek out experiential learning opportunities in the larger context of Southwestern Virginia. Unlike other BFA programs, George Washington University does not require a portfolio for admission. If you have an eye for detail, an artistic mind, and technical competence, then interior design could be the path for you. Earn an MA in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere; a studio-intensive MFA Art featuring critical exchange and curator collaboration; or a studio-based MFA Design degree focused on contemporary practice. With no requirement to specialize in a medium, you can focus on what’s relevant to your needs and interests.
To gain admission into this competitive program, students must complete various prerequisites with a "C" grade or better. Additionally, students must submit a BFA portfolio that showcases work consistent with the program's standards. The following retention and attrition rates are for Master of Interior Architecture students who began the program per calendar year. One of 9 majors within the Design & Applied Arts area of study, Interior Design has other similar majors worth exploring. The highly competitive interior design program at Auburn University is part of the school’s department of consumer and design sciences, with an undergraduate degree and several interdisciplinary graduate course offerings. Undergraduates enrolled in Auburn’s CIDA-accredited Bachelor of Science in interior design receive a well-rounded general education from the liberal arts university, in addition to a rigorous design foundation. At the end of the first academic term, interested students are evaluated, and the top 36 are admitted into the prestigious design program. The program’s curriculum covers nine semesters, with weekly, labor-intensive design studio sessions and required completion of a professional internship.

The Regency House by Caraday was so kind and patient with my father.
I wish they had a really nice outside area, so the oldies could get more fresh air. I have taken my gramps outside to the patio in the back though. Excellent place for rehab care and nursing assistance. We found the staff and facility to be very kind and supportive. Depending on which section you are in the care varies. Passport rehab is great but skilled care areas are not well staffed and not that clean.
The possibility of requiring long term care no longer terrifies her( based on her experience at Regency) and has become a viable alternative to the increasing challenges of homecare. Again the staff is outstanding and dedicated to the well being of the residents of Regency. Regency House offers outstanding care in a boutique residential setting.

Sweet Vidalia onions deeply caramelized in beef stock and beer until they are thick and gooey, then we bake Gruyere cheese on top until bubbly. Adobe InDesign is used to create both print and interactive layouts for single and multi-page ads, magazines, brochures, and books, as well as other print projects that need exact typographic and layout specifications. InDesign’s interactive PDFs and Apps for tablet devices and e-pubs give designers a range of abilities within this one program. In this course, the student will focus on how to employ InDesign to create interactive page layout applications. From the feature tools used within InDesign to the understanding of basic User Interface design (UI) and User Experience design (UX), the student will gain the necessary knowledge to implement this skill-set within their career.
Career Readiness
Students are expected to create communication materials for self-promotion and develop strategies for networking and community involvement, including internship opportunities. Students must participate in a formal portfolio presentation of their work to the community and to their fellow students. They are given instructions in portfolio presentation and preparation for career opportunities. By concentrating on layout composition and grid systems, this course will utilize design principles and problem-solving skills developed in prior fundamental and mid-level graphic design courses. With an emphasis on design process, students will explore various means of hierarchy and visual wayfinding.
Campus and Community
Students will learn to properly use space, the typographic grid and hierarchy in their designs. Expanding on web languages and technologies learned in Web Language I and II, students will learn more advanced constructs of the responsive framework, Foundation. Moreover, students will learn a number of additional tools for advanced web development including CSS preprocessors, Content Management Systems (CMS), and a brief overview of server-side scripting languages such as PHP and Javascript. By the end of the course, students will be able to fully develop a responsive website from a prototype, integrate it into a content management system using PHP frameworks and author it to the web. The first classes included painting, airbrush, and photography courses in Madison, Tennessee.

Upon completion of this course, the student will have a clear understanding of the four-color printing process and their role as graphic designer in the process. This course teaches students the core principles of Adobe Photoshop, the industry-standard raster-based photo manipulation program. Similar to Adobe Illustrator in significance and industry dominance, the ability to manipulate raster images will be a persistent theme throughout any career path involving print or digital media. By the end of the course, students will have a broad enough understanding of Photoshop to competently utilize it in whatever their chosen course of study. Knowledge of basic Web Design is rapidly becoming a prerequisite skill in many technology-oriented occupations. Even for those who do not intend to enter a career exclusively in web design, the current demand for basic abilities to create and manage a web presence is becoming widely expected.

Independent study courses must be approved by a member of the faculty, the student’s department coordinator and by the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The focus of this course is on creating a print publication from cover to cover. With an emphasis on hierarchy, grid, page sequence, and spreads, the publication integrates images, color, texture, and typography relative to the subject of the publication.
